These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of consulting services provided by thedotcomco.com. ("Consultant", "we", "our", or "us"). By engaging our services, you ("Client", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

We provide eCommerce consulting services, which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Business strategy development

  • Store setup and platform selection

  • Marketing and website conversion optimisation

  • Technical and design recommendations

  • Analytics and performance tracking

All services will be outlined in a written proposal or agreement prior to commencement.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information relevant to the consulting services.

  • Cooperate in a timely manner and respond to communications.

  • Ensure that you have the necessary rights (and proof) to any materials or content shared with us.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Fees are outlined in the proposal or agreement provided.

  • 50% payment is due upfront, unless agreed otherwise. Full payment is due within 7 days of invoice, unless agreed otherwise.

  • Late payments may incur a 20% additional fee.

4. Intellectual Property

  • All materials created or developed by persons employed by thedotcomco.com (reports, strategies, documents, websites) remain the property of thedotcomco. until full payment is received.

  • Upon full payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the deliverables for your business purposes only. Other usage rights may be discussed but not exercised until agreed by both parties in writing.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all confidential information private and not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent, unless required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

Any person(s) employed by thedotcomco. shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Client decisions or business outcomes based on recommendations.

  • Delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement by giving 7 days' written notice. In the event of termination:

  • Client shall pay for services rendered up to the termination date.

  • Consultant shall deliver any completed work up to that point.

8. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee any specific results, revenue, or performance. All advice and recommendations are based on professional judgment and available data at the time.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
